My Opinions on whats going on in WT land - Insider Information
by thedepressedsoul infirst off, i'd like to state that i currently have "privileges" in the congregation and volunteer at bethel on and off throughout the year.
that's as much information as i will currently give about myself.. starting off, i think something big is coming in the form of lawsuits and bad pr.
they seem to be batting down the hatches in preparation for something the last few years and even more so the last few months.

by Coded Logic indoes anyone know if this new freeze on all construction projects includes the new headquarters being built in warwick?.
if it does apply to it, then this really makes no sense whatsoever.
the society is poised to make hundreds of millions of dollars (perhaps even a billion) by selling the properties they currently occupy in brooklyn.

Yikes, just everything seems wrong here. I mean contrary to May 2014, about that new donation arrangement. Everyone was gung-ho about having all of their mortgages forgiven, but then to submit a mandatory lump sum each month to the Borg for eternity, for the extreme need of Kingdom halls. But then now to apparently suspend all work, except for the ivory tower in that of Warwick. Bad news. -

Any thoughts on the real reasons for droppng the 'school"
by sparrowdown inmy thoughts are.
1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.
i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??

I agree. I think the Ministry School could(was) a weak link, in a way. You could get some guy up there who could express his opinion on something causing people in the congregation to start thinking, or questioning things. -

Well, one week to go until we see the jaw-dropping letter read. It has to be legit, it is all over Cedars website at jwsurey. After you watch his video, he mentions that he has a supposed contact in the Borg. If that is the case, it has to be someone really high-up, because you must be sure that only a mere handful of people know about this. WoW!! -

And now this all combining of sending Bethelites home, and the apparent halt in construction, with supposedly so many new kingdom halls needed. Is this a coincidence. yes, we shall see.

Question: What would it take to get the BORG'S tax exempt status REVOKED?

i've always felt the main reason the borg made publishers do time slips/field service reports was to show that they are doing a community service to justify their tax exempt status.
we all know about their money grabs with the kh build scams, their selling off millions of dollars in real estate, etc.

These legal issues in North America could very well be the massive downsizing of Bethelites and this halt in construction, in order to battle these lawsuit. I just do not know how they will spin this to the rank and file if they should announce it sometime.
